01Don't publish
- Anything illegal in India or where your customers are, or that promotes illegal activity.
- Scams, phishing pages, fake payment or login pages, or links to malware.
- Content that impersonates a person, brand or government body, or misleads people about who you are.
- Illegal or restricted goods and services: weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, unlicensed medicines, gambling or betting where it isn't allowed, and anything else that needs a licence you don't hold.
- Sexual content involving minors (reported to the authorities), and adult sexual content.
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that encourages violence or self-harm.
- Material that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy, including other people's personal data without permission.
- False health, financial or legal claims.
02Reviews and ratings
- Don't write or buy fake reviews, or offer discounts, gifts or anything else in exchange for reviews.
- Don't ask only happy customers for a public review while hiding the option from others; EkQR's feedback flow lets every customer choose to post publicly.
- Follow Google's and other platforms' review policies.
03Messages
- Only send WhatsApp messages, SMS or Instagram messages to people who contacted you or agreed to hear from you, and follow Meta's WhatsApp Business and Instagram policies.
- No bulk unsolicited messages, and no messages about prohibited goods.
04Don't misuse the service
- Don't try to get into other accounts, test our security without permission, or get around plan limits or rate limits.
- Don't overload, disrupt, scrape or reverse-engineer EkQR, or use bots to create accounts or pages.
- Don't resell or white-label EkQR without our written agreement.
05What we do
We may remove content, pause a page or QR (it then shows a notice), limit features, or close an account that breaks this policy — usually after telling you, immediately when people are at risk. We may report illegal content to the authorities. If you think we got it wrong, write to [email protected] and we will review it.
